Often times we are nervous over situations of life and worry endlessly pondering how we can fix them. We have a father who never slumber nor sleep, he knows about our struggles/fears and He’s willing to help. Jesus said “Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden, for I will give you rest.”
In Peter 5:7 we’re admonished to cast our care upon God for He cares. This year, let’s roll over every burden of our lives over to Him. When we roll them over, they cease to be our burdens. The psalmist said in Psalm 124:2-8.
| vs 2. If it had not been the Lord who was on our side, when men rose up against us:
vs 3. Then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us: vs 4. Then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had gone over our soul: vs 5. Then the proud waters had gone over our soul. vs 6. Blessed be the Lord, who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth. vs 7. Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped. vs 8. Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth. |
The Lord fights our numerous unseen battles granting us victory. He’s always ready to help; roll those concerns over to Him and experience total peace. Have a blessed 2016
